Dr. Beth Schramm
Dr. Schramm received her B.A. from Hofstra University and her B.S. and Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. She completed externships at Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, WI; Feinbloom Low Vision Center and Pediatric training at The Eye Institute, Philadelphia, PA; and Pugliese Eye Specialists, Kingston, PA. Dr.Schramm has been practicing for over 25 years and enjoys working with all populations. Dr. Schramm also serves on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Sean McKeown
Dr. McKeown received his B.S. from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed externships at the VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA; Pugliese Eye Specialists in Kingston, PA; and The Eye Institute at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. McKeown serves as a member of the American Optometric Association Evidence Based Optometry Committee.
Carol, Receptionist
Carol became a member of our friendly team in 2017, as a front desk receptionist. Carol loves animals, gardening, and antiques. Carol and her husband are constantly remodeling and decorating their home. Carol has one daughter, who makes her very proud, and four grandchildren who are a constant source of delight.

Marymar, Optometric Technician
Marymar is our bilingual technician. After 2 years in banking, she has joined our practice and is continuing her education in the medical field to serve her community in the way she loves. She has a passion for helping people and is all ears to listening to their needs. When her head isn’t in a study book, she enjoys a good documentary in the winter and can be found taking in the air during the summer.
Katie, Optometric Technician
Katie joined our team in July of 2022 as an optometric technician. Katie graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy. Katie is a dedicated team player who enjoys working with all populations, but especially children. She looks forward to making our young patients feel welcome and comfortable. In her free time, Katie enjoys playing volleyball and watching football. Go Packers!

Caitlin, Optometric Technician
Caitlin joined our team in the summer of 2022 as an Optometric Technician. With over 4 years of experience in the customer service industry, Caitlin loves greeting our patients in a warm and friendly manner. Her easy going and attentive personality makes everyone around her feel comfortable and well listened to. In her spare time she enjoys making art and exploring the outdoors with her black lab, Dougie.
Joan, Optician
Joan has been with Tri County Vision since 2011. She has over 28 years experience in helping people see and look their best. Whether you are looking for special lens treatments to order with your new pair of glasses or you need a quick adjustment, the optical staff at Tri- County Vision can help you out. We offer a variety of stylish frames to suit every taste and budget. Not sure what you want or what looks best on you? Joan has an eye for style and a vast knowledge of lens types and coatings. She will make sure you not only see well with your new glasses, but look fantastic too!
Kris, Insurance Specialist
After graduating near the top of her Certified Medical Assisting Class from Lincoln Technical Institute in the Winter of 2011, she joined our team in July of the same year. Kris is an avid softball player, who has numerous championships and accolades in the 30+ years she has played. Her most recent playing for Cedarwood Lounge during the 2011 Women’s championship here in Willimantic.
Pennyann, Billing Specialist
Pennyann joined our team in 2022. Pennyann (Penny) has a BS in Holistic Social Work and comes with a vast knowledge of billing, financial counseling, and case management in all medical and community healthcare settings. Pennyann also spent some time working with DPH and United Way during Covid managing a team of community outreach specialists contact tracing and working vaccine clinics. Penny loves Reiki, mediation, and became a Doula to assist her daughter in a more meaningful birthing experience. She has 3 adult children, 3 grandchildren, and a spoiled American Akita, Diva.
